IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. Similarly to lasers, it uses light energy to target and minimize a concern. Many treatments that used to require painful lasers can now be done virtually pain-free thanks to IPL. We use it for hair removal, acne, pigmentation, and aging. However, some treatments like tattoo removal do require a laser.

Fractional Ablation is another way of saying laser resurfacing. Using the laser, we create controlled micro-wounds in the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

Also known as a Hollywood Facial, this is a treatment in which the medical aesthetician will apply a carbon mask to the skin to pull out impurities and zap it away with a laser to simultaneously exfoliate. This is a great treatment option for those with acne, clogged pores, dull skin, or texture. It is very comfortable and requires very little downtime.

Chemical Peels come in a variety of depths and use different ingredients to help with specific concerns. Most of our chemical peels are a shallower depth and work microscopically under the skin. However, we do offer various depths of our chemical peels. Perfect Derma Peel is a specific brand of medium-depth chemical peel that has a patented blend of ingredients to achieve results for deeper wrinkles, and more severe pigmentation (such as melasma), acne, and scarring.

Dermaplaning uses a scalpel to gently exfoliate the upper layers of dead skin by dragging the blade at a 45 degree angle across the surface. This leaves the skin brighter, smoother, and allows skincare to seep in deeper.

Microneedling, also known as collagen-induction therapy, uses several small needles to create controlled micro-wounds in the skin in order to stimulate the new production of collagen and elastin. This treatment helps with fine lines, pigmentation, and texture.

Microblading is a form of permanent makeup tattooing method used to create fuller brows. We do not offer permanent makeup services or education.

Microdermabrasion is another method of exfoliation in which the medical aesthetician will apply an abrasive substance to the skin. We do not offer microdermabrasion services or education.
